Fair Oaks District Police Report: 30-Year-Old Woman Left Uninjured After Attempted Robbery

A summary of incidents reported for Oct. 13-19.

For the week ending on Oct. 19, there was one major incident, six larcenies and no vehicle thefts included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. 

Major Incident 

  • ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A man attempted to rob a 30-year-old woman of her cell phone in the area of Kings Bridge Drive and Draper Drive around 9:46 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18. The suspect was described as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old and about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved shirt and a white baseball cap. The victim was not injured.

  • 4000 block of Fair Ridge Drive: Cash stolen from residence
  • 13000 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Purse stolen from business
  • 3200 block of Lockgate Court: iPod stolen from school
  • 4200 block of Summit Corner Drive: GPS and airbag stolen from vehicle
  • 4100 block of Summit Heights Way: Backpack and laptop computer stolen from vehicle
  • 2500 block of Wasser Terrace: Cash stolen from business
