Fair Oaks District Police Report: Attempted Robbery

For the week ending on May 25, there was one major incident, twelve larcenies and no vehicle thefts reported in the Fair Oaks District.  

Major Incident 

• ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Four men attempted to rob a 20-year-old man while he was walking in the 4200 block of Stringfellow Road around 12:50 a.m. on Monday, May 23. An investigation determined the suspects fled without taking anything and the victim did not require medical attention.  

Larcenies 

• 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road: Camera stolen from business
• 13000 block of Cobble Lane: GPS unit stolen from vehicle
• 3500 block of Frostleaf Court: Artwork stolen from business
• 4200 block of Hunt Club Circle: Tires stolen from vehicle
• 2800 block of Jermantown Road: Tools stolen from vehicle
• 12000 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Generators, gas cans, and chains stolen from business
• 13500 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Keys stolen from vehicle
• 13900 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Groceries stolen from business
• 13900 block of Metrotech Drive: License plate stolen from vehicle
• 13100 block of Pavilion Lane: Lawnmower stolen from business
• 3600 block of West Ox Road: Tools stolen from business
• 13000 block of Westbrook Drive: Money stolen from business
