Fair Oaks District Police Report: Second Attempted Robbery in Four Days

For the week ending on June 1, there was one major incident, ten larcenies and no vehicle thefts included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. 

Major Incident 

• ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A 74-year-old woman was the victim of an attempted robbery on Thursday, May 26 around 9 a.m. in the 13800 block of Rembrandt Way. The suspect displayed a knife. He was described as black, between 14 and 16 years old, about 5 feet 7 inches and 105 pounds and was riding a black, low-set bicycle. The victim was not injured. This incident occurred just days after on Stringfellow Road.  

Larcenies 

• 9500 block of Blake Lane: Beer stolen from business
• 10000 block of Blake Lane: Wood stolen from residence
• 11200 block of James Swart Circle: Liquor stolen from business
• 13100 block of Ladybank Lane: Medical records stolen from business
• 12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Driver’s license, identification, and gift card stolen from business
• 12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Cash stolen from residence
• 13000 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Money stolen from vehicle
• 4200 block of Middle Ridge Drive: Flag stolen from residence
• 12100 block of Monument Drive: Cell Phone and wallet stolen from vehicle
• 13800 block of Park Center Road: Fume hood, calibrator, and trash can stolen from residence
