Fair Oaks District Police Report: Sexual Assault Suspect Apprehended

A summary of incidents reported for June 23-29.

For the week ending on June 29, there was one major incident, 14 larcenies and no vehicle thefts included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report.  

Major Incident

  • *UPDATE: SEXUAL ASSAULT: Police arrested Ernesto W. Solano Godoy, 27, of 1206 Chase Heritage Circle #101 in Sterling, in connection with a reported in the 13700 block of Merrybrook Court. Sex Crimes detectives identified him as a suspect and on Saturday, June 25 around 8 p.m., Solano Godoy was arrested at his home. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with rape, burglary with the intent to rape and abduction with the intent to defile.

  • 3900 block of Corsair Court: GPS stolen from vehicle
  • 9900 block of Courthouse Road: GPS and change stolen from vehicle
  • 12500 block of Fair Lakes Circle: Golf clubs stolen from business
  • 3900 block of Fair Ridge Drive: Compressor, tools and GPS stolen from vehicle
  • 13000 block of Grey Farms Place: Bracelet stolen from business
  • 12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Wallet stolen from vehicle
  • 13100 block of Moore Road: Laptop computer, charger and camera stolen from vehicle
  • 2700 block of Silkwood Court: Golf clubs stolen from vehicle
  • 4200 block of Stackler Drive: iPod stolen from residence
  • 4200 block of Summit Manor Court: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • 11100 block of Tattersall Trail: Bicycle stolen from residence
  • 3200 block of Tayloe Court: Gas cap stolen from vehicle
  • 2900 block of Treadwell Lane: Wallet stolen from business
  • 12800 block of Willow Glen Court: Drill and batteries stolen from residence
