Fair Oaks District Weekly Police Report

A summary of incidents reported for May 12-18.

For the week ending on May 18, there were two major incidents, six larcenies and two vehicle thefts reported in the Fair Oaks District.  

Major Incidents 

  • ROBBERY: Three men robbed a 34-year-old man around 6:41 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 in the area of Holly Avenue and Lee Highway. Two of the suspects displayed small knives. The victim was not injured. 
  • BURGLARY: A community room in the 12100 block of Polo Drive was burglarized on Friday, May 13 around 4:49 a.m. An investigation determined there were no signs of forced entry and a television appeared to be missing.

  • 9500 block of Blake Lane: Beer stolen from vehicle
  • 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road: Laptop computer stolen from business
  • 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road: Laptop computer stolen from business
  • 11700 block of Fairfax Woods Way: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • 13200 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Purse stolen from vehicle
  • 12300 block of Price Club Plaza: Golf club stolen from business 

Vehicle Thefts 

  • 4100 block of Brickell Drive: 1999 Honda Civic
  • 4200 block of Monument Wall Way: Honda motorcycle
