Fair Oaks Mall Jewelry Store Hit by 'Smash and Grab' Thieves

Incident took place Monday at about 8 p.m.

A Kay Jewelers at Fair Oaks Mall got hit by three "smash and grab" thieves Monday night, according to police.

Three men entered the Kay Jewelers at Fair Oaks Mall Monday night just before 8 p.m. smashed a glass case and removed an undisclosed amount of jewelry. There were customers in the store at the time but nobody was injured.

All three suspects were described as black, ages 25 to 30 years old. One suspect was between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing a blue, hooded sweat shirt. The other two suspects were between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet 2 inches tall; one was wearing a dark, hooded sweat shirt and the other, wearing a white T-shirt.
