Noise Advisory: It's Going to Get Loud on Thursday in Chantilly
If you hear some loud booms, it's just demolition exercises.

On Thursday, the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Fairfax Field Office’s bomb technicians will once again be conducting explosive demolition exercises and training at the Chantilly Crushed Stone quarry on Route 50 in Loudoun County.
Residents in the immediate area of the quarry may hear booms and rumblings between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon on Thursday.
Again, this is just a standard training exercise and there is no reason to be alarmed or to call 911 if experiencing the booms, according to Virginia State Police.
