The person who was hit by a truck in the Chantilly Lowe's parking lot Monday is a 58-year old woman from Fairfax, Fairfax County Police said Tuesday.
The woman was struck in the garden center's parking lot by a 65-year-old man driving a pickup truck. Afterward she was flown by helicopter to a local hospital. The man, from Pennsylvania, was driving a Ram 1500 2004 Dodge, police said.
The woman remains in the hospital, but her injuries are non-life threatening, police said.
The incident occurred on private property.
