Police Arrest Chantilly Man After Incident Involving Shoplifting, Assault
Chantilly man arrested after Wednesday afternoon incident. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Fairfax County Police Wednesday afternoon were called to the 13300 block of Franklin Farm Road about a shoplifting and assault incident at a business.
A suspect fled, and the officers located Maher Hana, 37 of Chantilly at the 4100 block of Meadowland Court in Chantilly.
After officers located the suspect, he allegedly resisted officers when they attempted to detain him. Hana was charged with assault, larceny, and assault on a police officer.

The first victim at the business was not injured. The officer received minor injuries.
