Sully District Police Report: Centreville Man Charged with Assaulting an Officer, DWI and Disorderly Conduct

For the week ending on August 17, there was one major incident, 8 larcenies and no vehicle thefts included in the Sully District Activity Report. 

Major Incident 

• ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/DWI/ARREST: Police arrested a man for disorderly conduct after an officer saw him arguing with a woman in the 5600 block of Stone Road around 4:21 p.m. on Saturday, August 13. The suspect was allegedly not compliant with officers and arrested for acting disorderly. Michael R. McCreight, Sr., 42, of 14268 Heritage Crossing Lane in Centreville, was charged with disorderly conduct, DWI and three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer.  

Larcenies 

• 6100 block of Havener House Way: Tools stolen from vehicle
• 14900 block of Jaslow Street: Camera and phone stolen from residence
• 5200 block of Kimanna Drive: Tools stolen from vehicle
• Intersection of Lee Highway and Stone Road: Tools stolen from vehicle
• 14400 block of Newton Patent Court: Tools stolen from vehicle
• 4900 block of Stonecroft Boulevard: GPS stolen from vehicle
• 14100 block of Sullyfield Circle: Laptop computer stolen from business
• Intersection of Sunset Ridge Court and Sunset Ridge Road: iPod stolen from vehicle
