• 'This is just the opening number': Swift Creek Mill Theatre set to reopen after reaching fundraising goal (12onyourside.com) — Swift Creek Mill Theatre, long described as a Chester staple, will reopen this fall after successfully raising $250,000 through its "Save the Mill" campaign. Leaders say the money will restart performances, including a late-October show and December's "Drifty the Snowman," while also funding new marketing and development staff to keep the historic venue sustainable for Chester and Chesterfield audiences.
