• Farm Credit of the Virginias awards $130,000 in grants, including five West Virginia recipients (mybuckhannon.com) — A Culpeper County agricultural research center is receiving Farm Credit of the Virginias grant funding to partner with local farmers and school nutrition programs on value‑added food products. The award is part of more than $130,000 in grants supporting agriculture, youth programs, and local food systems across Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland, aimed at strengthening rural communities and future farm opportunities.
• A multi-jurisdictional chase ends with the arrest of a Culpeper man (theriver953.com) — A 42-year-old Culpeper man, Daniel Quinn, was arrested after allegedly leading multiple law-enforcement agencies on a chase from Winchester down Interstate 81 into Fauquier County. He now faces felony eluding and related traffic charges in several jurisdictions and is being held without bond at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center.
