• SperryFest 2026: A guide to the festivities (rappnews.com) — SperryFest takes over Sperryville’s Main Street today with markets, live music, kids’ duck events, and the big rubber duck race on the Thornton River before the road reopens at 6 p.m. Two stages will spotlight Sperryville-rooted bands, student performers, and an open old-time jam, while local farms, food vendors, and artisans fill out the festival marketplace.
   

• All hail the Grand Duckess! (rappnews.com) — Sperryville is adding a whimsical new tradition to SperryFest by crowning longtime resident and realtor Cheri Woodard as the festival’s first-ever Grand Duckess.
