• 'Cautious optimism': Massive measles outbreak in Buckingham, Cumberland has ended, VDH says (wavy.com) — Health officials have declared the measles outbreak in Buckingham and Cumberland counties officially over, after 154 people were sickened but no deaths reported. Most patients were unvaccinated or had unknown vaccination status, and Virginia health leaders urge Cumberland residents to stay protected as they continue monitoring for any new measles activity in the area.
