Fairfax County police are investigating after an elderly man was found shot several times early Friday at his home on the Potomac River. Police: Man Hid in Woman's Vehicle, Assaulted Her

An Alexandria man is accused of assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute, then hiding in her vehicle and assaulted her again on Thursday morning as she drove away from a local hospital. Mark Ricks, 29, is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, strangulation, abduction, domestic assault and reckless endangering of a child, according to the Fairfax County police. >>> Read more.

Bomb Hoax at McLean High: Suspect Arrested

A McLean area teen was the source of a bomb threat at McLean High School on March 2, according to Fairfax County Police. The incident early in the school day led police and administrators to close the school for the day and bus students home.
