The man accused in the brutal murders of a wealthy Washington, D.C., family and their housekeeper will be back in court Friday after he was indicted on 20 felony charges ranging from murder to the arson of the family’s D.C. mansion.
Daron Dylon Wint, 35, of Lanham was arrested in May 2015. Authorities said then that DNA left on a crust of leftover pizza at the mansion led police to Wint. On Wednesday, a grand jury reportedly indicted Wint on 12 counts of first-degree murder while armed. Other charges include kidnapping, burglary, extortion, arson and theft. >>> Read more.

2 Men Raid Arlington Home, Fire Gun Into Ceiling
Two men raided a house in North Arlington early this morning and fired a gun into the ceiling before robbing the occupants, police said.
The men entered a home recording studio located in the 700 block of N. Lincoln Street near Clarendon shortly before 3 a.m., and one of them brandished a firearm, which he fired into the ceiling as a warning shot, according to the Arlington Police. >>> Read more.
