DC Metro Shutdown: Service Restored Thursday
Metrorail will restore service Thursday after closing the tracks for emergency inspections all day Wednesday. WMATA spent the day inspecting all 600 "jumper cables" in the Metro system.

Teen Found Chained to Bed, Mother Charged: Police
Officers investigating child neglect allegations on Tuesday say they found a 17-year-old boy chained and roped to his bed, according to Prince William County Police. Paulette Renee Weston, 40, of the 13500 block of Wood St. in Woodbridge is charged with felony child neglect and abduction. >>> Read more.
