Alexandria Police to Hold Community Meeting Monday

The Alexandria Police Department will be holding a community meeting at the Cora Kelly Rec Center gymnasium on Monday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. to address community concerns in Arlandria, Lynhaven, Hume Springs, and surrounding areas.

The general public is invited to join officers from the department in a discussion to further the communication between the Police Department and the community. The recreation center is located at 25 W. Reed Ave.(see map below).

Police are investigating a homicide of a 22-year old from Alexandria, whose body was found Friday in nearby Four Mile Run Park and also the homicide of a 24-year old whose body was found at Beverley Park last month.
