• VSP investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Pulaski County (wset.com) — A 67-year-old Dublin resident, Timothy O. Cox, died Thursday after his motorcycle ran off the I-81 northbound Exit 94 ramp in Pulaski County, striking two signs and overturning. Virginia State Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time, and the crash remains under investigation, underscoring ongoing safety concerns for local riders using that busy stretch of interstate.
   

• Four crashes, six fatalities reported over July 4th weekend across the region (supertalk929.com) — A Dublin resident, 67-year-old Timothy Cox, died after his motorcycle left an I-81 exit ramp in Pulaski County and struck two signs, according to Virginia State Police. His death was one of six highway fatalities reported regionally over the July 4th weekend. Authorities are also investigating separate deadly crashes in Tennessee and Smyth County, Virginia.
   

• Vincent Joseph Clark, Jr. (pcpatriot.com) — Family and friends in Dublin can honor Vincent Joseph Clark Jr. at a Celebration of Life with military honors on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Dublin United Methodist Church. The longtime Army National Guard veteran and former Lynchburg Foundry manager is remembered for his faith, quiet humor, and deep devotion to family. Visitors may also pay respects at a Radford visitation the evening before.
