• Bowman, Sr., James Randall (nrvnews.com) — A longtime Parrott resident, Vietnam veteran, and community volunteer, James Randall “Jim” Bowman Sr. has passed away at 78 in his mountain home overlooking the New River. Friends and neighbors can pay their respects June 5 at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, with Masonic rites and military honors to follow at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
