$4K In Fraudulent Charges Made On Credit Cards Stolen In Fairfax City

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police are asking the public's help in identifying three people captured on surveillance video who police say made $4,000 in fraudulent purchases using stolen credit cards.

Around 12:30 p.m, on Sept. 12, the three suspects entered the Fairfax City Mall Safeway at 9622 Main. St. and stole a wallet from the victim's shopping cart. About 30 minutes later, credit cards that were in the wallet were used to make $4,000 in purchases at the Mosaic District Lululemon at 2920 District Ave., according to police.

  • Suspect 1: Hispanic female with blonde hair, wearing a gray shirt, tan pants, black hat, brown sandals, sunglasses, carrying a brown Louis Vuitton purse.
  • Suspect 2: Hispanic male with short gray hair, short gray beard, wearing a gray quarter zip athletic jacket, black pants, white hat, red and white sneaks.
  • Suspect 3: Hispanic female with brown hair, wearing matching gray pants and gray hooded sweater, white hat, black and red Nike Jordan sneakers, carrying a brown Michael Kors purse.
