Alexandria Man Arrested After Camera Shows Him Inside Fairfax City Apartment: Police
Police said an Alexandria man was charged with trespassing after a camera showed him inside a Fairfax City resident's apartment.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 43-year-old Alexandria man was arrested Thursday morning after he was captured on camera inside the victim's apartment on the eastern edge of the city, according to authorities.
City of Fairfax Police received a report shortly before 9 a.m. from a resident of an apartment in the 9400 block of Fairfax Boulevard. Although the resident was not home when they called police, a video camera in their apartment showed an acquaintance inside, according to police.
Arriving at the scene, officers made contact with the suspect, whom they identified as Jonathan Garcia of Alexandria, and took him into custody without incident, police said.

Garcia was arrested and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with trespassing and unlawful entry, according to the incident report. He was then held without bond.
