APR 14: Clients Discuss Overcoming Poverty at FACETS' "Opening Doors" Breakfast
FACETS, a nonprofit that opens doors by helping Fairfax residents who suffer the effects of poverty in Fairfax County, is hosting breakfast.

FACETS, a nonprofit that opens doors by helping Fairfax residents who suffer the effects of poverty in Fairfax County, is hosting its annual Opening Doors breakfast to educate the public and local businesses about FACETS’ work to help families and individuals who are struggling in the Fairfax community. Several FACETS’ clients will be sharing their experiences with homelessness and efforts to overcome it.
FACETS Opening Doors breakfast, taking place on April 14th from 7-9am at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, is an opportunity to learn about FACETS and meet fellow community members who take satisfaction in doing something important for their neighbors in need. With the second largest homeless population in the region, homelessness is a real problem in the Fairfax County-Falls Church community where more than 1,700 people are homeless. A majority of these are in working families with children.
