Assault Arrest After Man Heats Up Food At Fairfax City Store: Police
Police arrested a suspect in connection to an assault that occurred midday on Sunday at a Fairfax City convenience store.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested a 27-year-old man midday on Sunday for assault after he used a microwave oven at a city convenience store to heat up consumables he'd purchased somewhere else.
Officers responded around 12 p.m. for the report of an assault at the 7-Eleven located at 3910 University Drive. The reporting party told police that a man came into the store and began heating up the food he brought with him.
When the man was asked to leave, he assaulted the reporting party. He then took multiple consumable items and left the store without paying, according to police. The victim declined medical treatment for their injuries.

Police located and arrested the suspect, whom they identified as 27-year-old Victor Adeniji of no fixed address. Adeniji was talking to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with assault, petit larceny, and disorderly conduct. He was then held on no bond.
