Banditos Tacos & Tequila Marks Grand Opening With Food, Drinks, Music
Banditos Tacos & Tequila is throwing a day-long celebration on Saturday to mark the grand opening of its University Mall location.

FAIRFAX, VA — Banditos Tacos & Tequila will be celebrating the grand opening of its new University Mall location with an all-day event starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
“Banditos is excited to be part of the Fairfax community, so to continue the celebration of our recent opening, we’re thrilled to host a grand opening to show what our Taco Temple has to offer,” said Sean White, founder and CEO of White Oak Hospitality, owner of Banditos Tacos & Tequila, in a release.“We have a passion for creating a dining experience like no other and the grand opening event is a way for us to showcase our personality, serve great tacos and tequila, and live music entertainment.”
Attendees on Saturday will be able to sample food and drinks throughout the day and pick up a variety of giveaways. DJ Gottit will be providing music starting at 2 p.m. and from 3-5 p.m., the restaurant will be offering free tastings of tequila and Mezcal. Local band Bravenoise will cap off the day with live music starting at 9 p.m.

The 7,000-square-foot Banditos Fairfax located 10621 Braddock Road, in the space previously occupied by the Brion's Grill sports bar. White told Patch that the location was chosen due to its proximity to George Mason University, making it a a convenient walk for students, faculty, and staff, as well as people attending shows or games at EagleBank Arena.
