Outstanding Warrants Lead To 5 Arrests At Fairfax City Home: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police arrested four people early Thursday morning inside a residence at 9905 Stoughton Road. A fifth suspect who was associated with the residence was arrested for failure to appear warrants from Fairfax City.

Around 6;35 a.m., detectives executed a search warrant at the Stoughton Road address, according to police. Four of the five people found inside had outstanding warrants from other law enforcement agencies.

These are the five people who were arrested and their charges:

  • Taya Selmer, 26, no fixed address, probation violation
  • Jimmy Mendez, 41, no fixed address, failure to appear
  • Hailey Sheff, 22, no fixed address, failure to appear
  • Michelle Dumph, 41, no fixed address, Fairfax County warrant related to a narcotics violation
  • Nathaniel Cox, 26, City of Fairfax, failure to appear from City of Fairfaxe.

The public was advised to avoid the area while the investigation was going on. There was no threat to the public, according to police.

By 9:29 a.m., detectives had cleared the area and Stoughton Road reopened to traffic. No injuries or property damage was reported.
