If you are managing a chronic illness and would like to help others manage their chronic illness, consider becoming a workshop leader with the Fairfax Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. Training classes for workshop leaders are scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, Wednesday, July 13, Tuesday, July 19, and Wednesday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Participants will learn how to lead a six week workshop for adults with conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, pain, heart conditions. No prior teaching experience is necessary.
