4th Annual Empty Bowls  Community Fundraiser!

You're invited to enjoy a heartwarming, family-friendly evening for our important cause! For a  donation of $25, you select a handcrafted bowl from the display to take home, and then enjoy a simple meal of delicious soup or chili, bread and simple beverage (donated by area restaurants) – a  meager meal to remind us of hunger in our midst. We'll have 400+ bowls to select from, all donated by local ceramic artists, potters, hobbyists, students and community members at local "paint your own pottery" stores.

Join your neighbors at the brand new beautiful Sherwood Community Center to enjoy fellowship, food, music by the Fairfax Saxophone Quartet, our beautiful silent auction items, and raffle prizes!  You take your beautiful bowl home with you, as a symbolic reminder of those in our community who often have nothing but an "empy bowl".  All proceeds will be used to benefit local families in our Fairfax County area who are facing financial crisis – whose bowls and pantries are empty – so that they may be filled.

Tickets on sale now online via www.ODBFairfax.org : $25 in advance, $30 at the door (children $10 without bowl; $20 for 2 or more).
