Ever wanted to grow herbs ? We can help you !
We will take a few herbs and follow them through their life, from starting and propagating them, to placing them in the garden and helping them thrive. We will discuss herb varieties and types of herbs that make wonderful garden additions, including mostly culinary, but also a few medicinal and ornamental. We will include some common herbs and some not so common herbs. In the class we explore where to plant your herbs, what growing conditions they like along with tips on companion planting them. This class is an overview, so we will touch on each area, giving you a starting point to explore each area further. For the workshop portion, you get to choose varieties from our seed bank or take soft cuttings from the garden. You will start your choices and get to take them home !
