One of the bank’s six employees had smelled smoke and called 911, the fire department said. An employee was treated at the scene by paramedics, but was not taken to a hospital. There were no other injuries.

The bank is west of the Beltway and several blocks south of Lee Highway (Route 29). According to investigators, the fire started in a secure ATM room near the front entrance.
