Retired Policeman Charged With Embezzlement
28-year veteran allegedly diverted fuel from county pumps for personal use, say Fairfax County police.

A retired Fairfax County police officer has been indicted on charges that he stole fuel from county pumps for his personal use.
The police department announced Monday that Lon A. Wolber, a 28-year veteran of the force, was indicted on one count of felony embezzlement and one count of misuse of public funds. The indictment followed an internal criminal probe that began in October, when a department employee noticed suspicious activity at a county fuel pump location.
