Volunteer Fairfax, your area volunteer center, is pleased to present the 2014 Handbook for Holiday Heroes. The Handbook is a special online meeting place for nonprofits and volunteers to find each other during Holiday Season. The Handbook is active throughout the Giving Season from Thanksgiving Week and continuing through Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service, January 20, 2015.

Area agencies working in our community are especially busy during the holidays meeting the special needs that exist at this time. In this wealthy area, nonprofits are feeding and clothing and gifting our less fortunate. Your help is needed.

Perhaps this Season you will gather with your family and friends. Or, perhaps you will find yourself enjoying some quiet time. Whatever you have planned, your presence and your two hands will be welcomed at the projects listed in the handbook.
