Hooters Waitress Sexually Assaulted in Fairfax: Police

Victim describes being grabbed and then having male suspect wrap his arms around her while engaging in unwanted touching.

FAIRFAX, VA — A Hooters restaurant waitress says she was grabbed by a male customer early Sunday morning, after which he wrapped his arms around her while engaging in unwanted touching at the establishment at 10060 Fairfax Boulevard, according to Fairfax Police.

The suspect then left the business in a vehicle.

Hooters waitresses usually wear tight white t-shirts and orange short-shorts. In a 2015 Cosmopolitan article titled "What It's Really Like to Be a Hooters Waitress," two waitresses who'd worked at Hooters described varying degrees of inappropriate behavior by some male customers.

"Unwanted touching" has been prominent in the 2016 presidential election coverage. An 11-year-old video was released earlier this month showing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, seemingly unaware he was being taped, bragging to an Access Hollywood reporter about groping women, followed by accusations from women and denials from Trump.
