Maryland Man Charged With Stealing Copper Wire
Fairfax City police: Second suspect also involved in alleged theft from Home Depot.

Fairfax City police arrested a Maryland man on Thursday for allegedly stealing copper wire from a local Home Depot.
Mark Wayne Moore, 40, of 27650 Cannon Lane, Mechanicsville, Md., met with an officer at police headquarters, where he was served with a warrant charging him with grand larceny. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, according to a police report, which did not list a date for Moore’s next appearance in court.

Moore and a second suspect, who was not identified, were charged with taking copper wire on Jan. 10 from the hardware store at 3201 Old Lee Highway without paying. The amount of wire allegedly stolen was not disclosed.
As of Friday, Fairfax City police had not arrested the second suspect, but they said the warrant service was pending.
