Planned Closure Of McLean Avenue In Fairfax City Delayed Until Wednesday Morning
Due to inclement weather, the planned closure of McLean Avenue in the City of Fairfax has been pushed back to Wednesday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — McLean Avenue in the City of Fairfax will not be closed Monday as originally planned due to weather concerns.
The city had planned to close McLean Avenue to through traffic from Fairfax Boulevard to Cedar Avenue from Monday to Friday.
In anticipation of inclement weather, the decision was made to delay the start of the road closure. Now, McLean Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday, as well as Monday and Tuesday.

The closure will allow contractors to connect sewer services for the Flats at Boulevard VI to the city's sewer system.
Although the road will be closed to through traffic, residents and business owners will be given access as necessary.
