Motorcyclist Dies In Late-Night Crash On Braddock Road Near Kings Park

A motorcyclist died after a crash with a vehicle Monday night at Braddock Road and Kings Park Drive, Fairfax County police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A motorcyclist died Monday night after a crash involving another vehicle at the intersection of Braddock Road and Kings Park Drive, according to Fairfax County police.

Police said officers responded to the crash near the Kings Park community around 10:30 p.m. Monday. The collision involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

The adult male motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, according to police.

Following the crash, police closed the eastbound lanes of Braddock Road at Kings Park Drive while detectives with the department's Crash Reconstruction Unit investigated the circumstances of the collision.

As of Tuesday morning, there were no active reports of the roadway remaining closed, indicating traffic has likely resumed through the area.
