Norwegian Festival and Bazaar 2016 This Weekend in Fairfax
It'll be Friday and Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church and will feature all things Norway, including food, music and much more.
FAIRFAX, VA — Well, this one is certainly different from the multitude of holiday events being held over the next several weeks. We're talking a celebration of all things Norway this weekend at Christ Lutheran Church, 3810 Meredith Drive.
It's the 46th annual Norwegian Festival and Bazaar, featuring live music, a Norwegian cafe, cooking and craft demonstrations, and a huge selections of gifts and books.
Oh, and Nordic sweaters, too.

Sponsored by the Sons of Norway, Washington Lodge, the event (10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.) Saturday) also will have dancers and all manner of instrumental music.
Among the imported food fare: nokkelost, lefse, krumkakker and vaffler hot off the griddle.
