Pair of Teens Robs Taxi Driver at Gunpoint
Incident took place in broad daylight Sunday, when the two got into the cab in Fairfax City and asked to be driven to Alexandria.

A taxi driver who picked up two teenagers Sunday in Fairfax City was robbed at gunpoint just off of South Kings Highway near Alexandria, according to the Fairfax County police.
When the cab arrived on Brick Heath Court, south of Alexandria near Route 1, one teenager pulled a gun on the driver and demanded cash, the police said.

The driver gave the gunman the cash and the teens got out of the taxi and ran. The driver did not require any sort of medical help, according to police.
Officers, a police helicopter and a K-9 unit (an officer with a trained dog) responded at about 4:14 p.m. to the scene to search for the suspects, police said. They were not found, and detectives have taken over the case.

The suspects are described by police as being between the ages of 15 and 18; one teen is black and the other is white.
