Police Say 20 Cars Egged at Dealership in Fairfax City

The latest from the Fairfax City Police crime report, released Friday.

Here’s a look at the most recent crime report, released Friday by the Fairfax City Police Department:

  • Larceny: 10350 Willard Way / Safeway – On September 9 at 6:10 PM an employee reported that sometime after 10:00 AM unknown person(s) had removed her wallet from her purse which she had left in an unsecured locker. The wallet contained cash, identification and a debit card.
  • Malicious Wounding: 9800 Block of Fairfax Boulevard – On September 10 at 12:35 PM the victim, a 21 year old Fairfax Station area man, reported that during an altercation with a male subject known to him that subject had produced a knife and cut the victim several times. The victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. The case remains under investigation.
  • Assault/Malicious Wounding: 9883 Fairfax Boulevard / Valvoline Instant Oil Change – On September 10 at 12:14 PM officers responded to a report of a fight involving several male subjects during which two subjects received injuries which were not life-threatening and for which they received treatment at medical facilities. The cause of the altercation and involvement of the participants remain under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.
  • Vandalism: 9909 Main Street / Fairfax Motors – On September 10 at 5:43 PM the manager reported that on August 1 unknown person(s) had thrown eggs on approximately 20 cars in the dealership’s parking lot.
  • Vandalism: 10500 Block of Assembly Drive – On September 10 at 6:12 PM the resident reported that unknown person(s) had spray painted graffiti on the side of his home.
  • Assault: 3950 University Drive / Greene Turtle Restaurant Courtyard – On September 11 at 1:37 AM officers responding to a report of a fight were told by the victim, a 28 year old Springfield area man, that two unknown male subjects had struck him and knocked him to the ground, then left the area. The victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries which were not considered life-threatening.
