Stolen Guitar Finds Its Way Back to Fairfax Shop: Police
A Stafford man shows off his new guitar to a friend who works at Guitar Center, and then finds it was the same one stolen: Fairfax Police.

FAIRFAX, VA — So a guy from Stafford buys a new guitar from a Craigslist poster on Dec. 25 at an area Wawa and later goes to Fairfax for dinner with his mother and brings along the guitar. He then stops by Guitar Center at 11051 Lee Highway to show a buddy who works there his new instrument, according to Fairfax Police spokesman Shawn Sutherland.
His buddy says something along the lines of "Oh, we have one just like that here."
When he goes to find it, though, it's missing. Well, turns out there's a reason it was missing.
