Suspicious Death Of Reston Man Found In Car On I-395 Investigated
Alexandria Police are investigating the suspicious death of a Reston man who suffered a severe injury. He was found in a car on I-395.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A 66-year-old Reston man died of a severe injury at the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency in a car, which had stopped on I-395 the night of Aug. 8, according to Virginia State Police. City of Alexandria Police are conducting a suspicious death investigation.
VSP troopers responded around 8:30 p.m., for the report of a medical emergency involving a silver 2005 BMW sedan, which had stopped on the shoulder of I-395 at the 4 mile marker near Seminary Road. Emergency personnel were already treating one of the vehicle's passengers and helping a second person at the scene, according to police.
The first passenger, identified as a 66-year-old Reston man, was taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead. His body was then taken to the Office of the Medical Examiner.

Following an examination and autopsy, the medical examiner determined the man had died from a severe injury, according to police.
