Critically Missing Fairfax County Girl Turns Up At Police Station

Angelica Flores had been missing since mid-February when she showed up at a Norfolk police station.

A critically missing Fairfax County teen with ties to gang members has been found in Norfolk Thursday evening, police say.

Angelica Flores, 16, from the Alexandria area of the county, had been missing since Feb. 17 when she showed up alone at a Norfolk, Va. police station around 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 12. Her family has been notified.

Fairfax County Police had been searching for Flores since February. Earlier in April, they received information suggesting she may be in danger and that she was affiliated with gang members.

Flores will return to Fairfax County next week, where she will face interviews with detectives on her whereabouts for the two months she'd been missing. She will be held at the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center due to a court order violation.
