Man Tries To 'Buy' 13 Year Old At Faneuil Hall: Boston Police
A New Hampshire man was arrested and accused of attempted kidnapping, according to Boston Police.

BOSTON, MA —A man came up to the parents of a 13-year-old girl and offered cash to "buy" their daughter near Faneuil Hall in Boston and then grabbed her, according to police.
The scene allegedly unfolded Sunday evening near North and Congress streets around 4:41 p.m. And the family called police to report an attempted kidnapping.
The parents told police a man came up to them and offered cash to "buy" their daughter. Police told Patch the actual amount was undisclosed.

"The suspect then grabbed the young girl by her arm and attempted to drag her away," Boston police said in a statement. "The child's father intervened, and the suspect fled on foot."
Police found the man, later identified as 20-year-old Alfred Patterson of Raymond, New Hampshire, near 260 Washington Street and arrested him.

He is scheduled to appear in Boston Municipal Court on charges of enticement of a child under 16 and attempted kidnapping of a child.
