10 Places To Go On St. Patrick's Day 2018 Around Kingstowne

St. Patrick's Day 2018 falls on a Saturday, which means this year's celebration of Ireland's patron saint might be a wee bit more rowdy.

To help you choose how to spend your St. Patrick's Day, we've rounded up some of the best parties, happy-hours, dinners, parades, and more happening around Kingstowne.

Here's where to celebrate in and around Kingstowne for St. Patrick's Day weekend:

1. Fiona's Irish Pub: Celebrate all weekend with live music, Irish food and drinks.

2. Greene Turtle: Start St. Patrick's Day with a breakfast buffet plus Irish food, drink specials, games, giveaways and more all day.

3: Maggiano's (Springfield): Paint a wine and beer glass while enjoying bottomless mimosas.

4. Springfield Kilroys: The annual party includes kegs and eggs, green beer, the wheel of deals, DJ Lee McGuffey and Guinness specials.

5: Sons of the American Legion Post 176 (Springfield): A live DJ, Wagon O Cheer drawing, corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie and deli sandwiches will all be part of the celebration. Attendees should bring a dessert to share.

6. Alexandria St. Patrick's Day Parade: The parade has been a tradition since the 1980s and is a must-see on King Street. Originally planned for earlier in March, the parade was rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18. Beforehand there will be the Fun Dog Show with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Market Square. 7. Murphy's Grand Irish Pub (Old Town Alexandria): Get decked out in green for an all-day party with Irish dancing throughout Saturday and live music at night.

8. Daniel O’Connell’s Irish Restaurant & Bar (Old Town Alexandria): The Irish pub regularly offers live music on weekend.

9. Eamonn's (Old Town Alexandria): The restaurant will serve up fish & chips, Irish beer & soda, and a fried candy bar all weekend for the holiday.

10. O’Shaughnessy’s Pub (Old Town Alexandria): If you want to spend the night out Saturday, catch two musical performers go head-to-head at the pub.
