Alexandria Man Caught Breaking Into Cars
Residents in Springfield reported a man stealing from cars, and police found him damaging another in the Kingstowne area.

KINGSTOWNE, VA—Police tracked down a robber that was damaging and stealing from cars in Springfield and the Kingstowne area early Monday morning.
Between midnight and 2 a.m., residents reported a man breaking into cars using an unknown object at the 7000 block of Skyles Way. The man fled, and police searched the area using residents' description.

A K9 officer found him at China Grove Court and Flat Rock Court in Kingstowne damaging another car. Keon Lewis, 24, of Alexandria was arrested and charged with destruction of property, possession of burglarious tools and larceny. A mugshot was not available.
