Black Friday Heist Leads To Car Crash In Springfield
An uninvolved driver was injured when Black Friday shoplifters tried to flee from Springfield Town Center.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—While Black Friday was a chaotic time inside the malls, one incident turned dangerous outside Springfield Town Center on Nov. 23.
It all started with four people fleeing the Victoria’s Secret with merchandise around 4:55 p.m., Fairfax County Police say. After escaping an employee, the four got into a gray Acura sedan and drove onto Loisdale Road. At one point the car reportedly crashed into another car.
The suspects' car apparently did not pull over for officers, but the suspects fled on foot before officers caught them. The person whose car had been hit went to the hospital with minor injuries.
