Car Skids Off Snowy Springfield Road Into Woods
A car slid off the road and into the woods as snow fell in Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD, VA—Snowfall on Saturday resulted in hazardous conditions on the road and a scary crash in Springfield.
According to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, a car slid off the road and into a wooded area on Pohick Road and Southrun Road. No one was injured, and only one car was involved.
Slippery road conditions continued until sunrise on Sunday as temperatures began to warm up to the 40s and 50s. According to the Capital Weather Gang, the snow will gradually melt away throughout the day.

Areas of Northern Virginia received around an inch or less of snow.
