Springfield Man Dies After Car Overturns
Police say a driver is dead after a car hit another vehicle and overturned in West Springfield.
WEST SPRINGFIELD, VA—One person is dead after a late Saturday accident in West Springfield.
Police reported the accident after 11 p.m. Saturday on Fairfax County Parkway near Hoees Road. Timothy Thomas of Springfield, 62, the driver of the vehicle that collided with another vehicle, died. The car overturned during the accident. The other driver was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and speed could be a factor. No further information has been released.
