Live Stream: Funeral Service For Virginia State Troopers Killed During Charlottesville Violence
Watch the funerals of the Virginia state troopers who died in a helicopter crash while monitoring the violence in Charlottesville.

RICHMOND, VA — The funerals for the two Virginia State Police troopers killed in a helicopter crash Saturday while monitoring the events in Charlottesville are happening Friday and Saturday. The pilot, Lt. H. Jay Cullen, 48, of Midlothian and Trooper-Pilot Berke M.M. Bates, 40, Quinton, both died at the scene just outside the city in Albemarle County.
The funeral for Bates is 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Baptist Church (4247 Creighton Road, Richmond). The visitation was Thursday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. and from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond).
The funeral for Cullen is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Southside Church of the Nazarene (6851 Courthouse Road, Chesterfield). The visitation will be from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday at Bennett Funeral Home (14301 Ashbrook Parkway, Chesterfield).

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, the two troopers had been providing video monitoring of clashes between white nationalists and counter-protesters. The troopers deaths were two of three related to the violence in Charlottesville Saturday.

RAW: Workers Removing Crashed Helicopter
A spokesperson for the National Transportation Safety Board told The Washington Post an initial investigation of the crash could take one to two weeks.
The other death was a result of a car plowing into a crowd of counter-protesters. The victim was identified as Heather Heyer, 32, a resident of Charlottesville, and dozens of others were injured. Heyer will be buried Wednesday, according to the New York Daily News. A public memorial service was scheduled for Wednesday morning.
