Chesterbrook Academy Campers Donate $700 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Alexandria recently raised more than $700 to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a childhood cancer foundation dedicated to raising funds for research, supporting families and raising awareness to help cure childhood cancer. To raise money for the organization, campers hosted a lemonade stand for fellow campers, families, staff and teachers. In addition to lemonade, campers sold homemade cupcakes, slime and play dough. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of helping children in need.
